Module is an interdisciplinary festival taking place from 13 to 16 August 2026. Located on the former university campus in Frankfurt Bockenheim—a site currently undergoing an intensive cultural transformation—the project explores the interplay between music, design, and socially relevant discourse. The festival is free of charge and open to the public.

The Main Stage features artists such as Suzanne Ciani, Roza Terenzi, Skee Mask, upsammy, Rosa Anschütz, and many more. As night falls, the architecture of the Juridicum building becomes a canvas for large-scale projections by visual artist Lucas Gutierrez and others.

The daytime programme is hosted by Refuge Worldwide, with afternoon sessions curated by local figures ZSZS, cmjk, aaron, and Febi featuring Bambi, LUXE, yungfya, and hitekjaz, to name just a few.

The festival’s sonic experience is engineered by Hannes Volk (vunktion), well-known for his work on the sound design of the Open Ground club in Wuppertal. The visual and spatial identity is developed by Lamm & Kirch and the artist collective YRD.Works.

Module Festival is part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 programme.

Every two years, World Design Organization awards the title of World Design Capital to a city or region. In 2026, Frankfurt RheinMain will become an international stage for design.

Funded by the State of Hesse, City of Frankfurt am Main, and Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain.
