Valentino is a DJ and producer born in Palermo in 1998.
His sonic identity is the result of a unique journey: from classical studies at the conservatory, where he studied mandolin, to the stages of the hip-hop scene, and eventually to his definitive place within the world of underground electronic music.
His style blends Minimal, Deep Tech, electronic music and Garage with a rare melodic sensitivity.
With over 400 DJ sets across Palermo, its surrounding province and Jesolo, Valentino has brought his sound to prominent venues, opening for artists such as Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Josh Baker, Blackchild, Miroloja, Alex Neri, Archie Hamilton, Laidlaw, Francesco Maddalena, Neverdogs, Priku, S.A.M., Sam Ruffillo, Traumer and Locklead.
He is the founder of Sensazione Stupenda, a project that has helped redefine club culture in Palermo by creating meaningful connections between music, places and communities.
He has collaborated with some of the city’s leading local collectives and platforms, including Unlocked Party and Meeraqui, and played an integral and fundamental role in the creation and production of Aura Festival, with events held at the Segesta Archaeological Park, the Sistema delle Piazze in Gibellina, and Foro Italico in Palermo.
Through his work as an artist, curator and promoter, Valentino has established himself as one of the most active and recognizable figures within Sicily’s underground electronic music scene.
