Saalschutz is a fool’s game out of nowhere, involving all the higher questions. A glimpse into the disco ball-paved abyss of the sweet sins of dance music. And if you stare into this abyss for long enough, the abyss will stare back at you. The two self-proclaimed Defenders of Disco Dancin‘ are a suggestion, a conjecture, an offer, a piece of the mosaic. A self-reproducing four-to-the-floor machine made of cables, displays, buttons, keys, controls, levers, switches, blood, sweat and tears – greater than the sum of its parts and stronger than time.

The Belgian Stallion first came into contact with rave culture in their early teens during a visit to their Belgian relatives. But their (musical) influences are as strange, diverse and colourful as the outfits BELGI wears on stage. In their energetic live sets, you will hear exclusively their own productions and some unreleased remixes. Their already released tracks have been played several million times on Spotify. Their mission: to create goosebump moments on the dance floor.

And of course, we’re throwing an after-show party too: Parallel to the sprawling Saalschutz tours, M T Dancefloor began producing house and electronica as Rolf Saxer and releasing it on his neighbourhood label ‘Hardau Records’. He is co-founder of a small underground festival in Zurich called ‘Alors Festival’ and part of crews such as ‘Tropical Continent’ and ‘Trippy Advisor’. As a live act and DJ, he has played at various clubs and festivals such as Lethargy, Dachkantine, Übel & Gefährlich, Silbergold, Off The Radar, Kapitel Bollwerk, Festsall Kreuzberg, Opnair St. Gallen, Golden Pudel Club, ://about blank, Villa Wuller, Feel Festival, Festsaal Kreuzberg and many more. He is also a welcome guest at off-parties and various illegal electronic events.
