The FEMC – A FLINTA* Electronic Music Conference will take place for the first time at the MOMEM – Museum of Modern Electronic Music in Frankfurt.

Hamburg-based photographer, DJ and curator Katja Ruge is bringing her interdisciplinary approach to Frankfurt for two days of workshops, panels, dialogue and music. A pulsating FLINTA* space in which art, community and electronic sound culture merge and new impulses emerge. Workshops will take place during the day (€28 per workshop, exclusively for FLINTA* persons, for further information on the workshops see ticketing).

In the evening, the content will be brought together in freely accessible panels and a dramaturgical arc will be drawn from the day into a joint discussion and subsequent DJ sets by FLINTA* DJs.

With FEMC, we want to empower FLINTA* people in electronic music, create spaces for exchange and visibility and make it possible to experience how much this music can connect and heal. Right now, it’s more important than ever. It is an absolute pleasure and a great honour for me to host this conference here at MOMEM for the first time.
